Banana-Date-Almond Smoothie

It is smooth, healthy, thick, creamy, and sweet. It really is amazingly nutritious because the almonds give you an amazing dose of vitamin E while the banana is an alkaline fruit which helps in neutralizing the acid of the stomach. Due to its alkaline nature, bananas really helps cure acid reflux and heartburn. Including dates in the smoothie makes it fiber-rich and filling for the stomach.

Is it bad filling up your body with potassium, magnesium, Vitamin E and fiber in the morning while forgetting about the worries of acid reflux, heartburn, and acidity? Certainly Not!

Here is how you can prepare it:

The recipe makes about 4 cups total and serves 2.

2 medium ripe bananas
1/4 cup dates
2 cups almond milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
4 ice cubes
Dash of cinnamon
