Mirch Ka Achar

Mirch ka Achar or Chili Pickle just by its mention makes our mouths drool. It is any meal’s best friend. Chili Pickle can always lift the taste of any meal, any time. If you tend you have more out of greed then make sure you keep sachets of Gas-O-Fast handy to get instant relief from acidity.


  • Green chilies 250 grams
  • Onion seed 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Aniseed 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek 1 tsp
  • Oil 1-1/2 250 ml
  • Curry leaves 6-7
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp

Servings: 250 grams Achar


  1. Grind fenugreek seed, mustard seed, onion seed, and coriander.
  2. Wash green chilies and slit with knife, mix all grind spices in chilies.
  3. Heat oil and add curry leaves in it.
  4. Pour oil on chilies add vinegar for preservation.
  5. Put this achar in a glass jar cover it with muslin cloth.

Put it in sunlight for 3 days.
