Heartburn fighting Oatmeal muesli

Gone are the days when cornflakes were the only thing for breakfast. In these fast moving contemporary times, not taking care of your health brings with it a lot of lifestyle problems like acid reflux or acidity. So how does one eradicate such hurdles??? Make healthy food choices of course!

Here is a yummy recipe to avoid that acidity:

Ingredients
1 cup instant oatmeal
1 cup milk
2 tbsp. raisins (brought to a boil, drained)
½ banana, diced
½ golden apple, peeled, diced
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. sugar or honey

Directions
1. The evening before (or at least 2 hours before), mix the oatmeal, milk, raisins, salt, and sugar (or honey) together in a bowl.
2. Cover and place in the refrigerator.
3. Add fruit before serving.
4. If the mix is too thick, add milk.

This recipe is a modern take on how a slight change in diet can help you be healthy as well as avoid acidity. But, in case of immediate relief, always keep a sachet of Gas-O-Fast with you at all times. A gulp with some water will give you the much needed relief within a minute.
