Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal is an all time favorite food item. It is highly preferred for breakfast time and is also a perfect meal for anytime hunger. The cinnamon and honey provide great flavor to the oatmeal. Besides great taste, it provides high nutrition to the body.
2 cups oats
2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 cup milk
2 sliced bananas
4 tbsp honey
4 cups water
1/8 almond extract
In a medium-sized pan, bring the water to a boil.
Put water, salt and almond extract in the pan.
Add oats and banana.
Heat and stir the oats and cinnamon. Now turn down to simmer.
Cook for 10 – 15 minutes, till the oats have reached desired consistency.
Turn off heat, cover and leave it for about 5 minutes.
Add honey and cinnamon, and stir to combine.
Serve in a bowl and ENJOY!
